The Lux Room

The Lux Room is an innovative curatorial art space. The Lux Room’s curatorial mission is to integrate digital art into the realm of fine art by showcasing its unique characteristics, challenges, and progression. We aim to contextualise digital art within art history while embracing its technological aspects, prioritising immersive experiences and interdisciplinary collaborations to engage audiences. Furthermore, we aim to spotlight the craftsmanship behind digital creations and explore the intersection of technology, society, and culture. Through this approach, we seek to challenge preconceptions of digital art as transient or lacking substance, fostering greater acceptance and recognition within the fine art world. Kim Randall-Stevens, the founder and visionary behind The Lux Room brings more than 24 years of expertise in the contemporary art sphere. Starting in London galleries and extending to global art fairs, her deep-rooted connections within the industry are well established. With a wealth of experience and understanding of art and art technology, she offers an innovative perspective on this evolving art ecosystem and the industry’s future. Caterina Licitra is the co-founder and chief creative officer of The Lux Room. Art is an intrinsic part of her identity. Serving as a catalyst, curator, designer, and artist, she seamlessly integrates creativity with real-world applications. Caterina oversees the Lisa Ponti Archives across Asia, the USA, Latin America, and the Middle East. She channels the knowledge and legacy of her great grandfather Gio Ponti. Through her expansive network in art, design, and architecture she enhances The Lux Room’s vision. The Lux Room joined TAEX as Curators in 2024.
